DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN CHECK LIST
------------------------------------------------------------------
Wikipedia defines a board up as "the process of installing boards on the windows and doors of a property to protect it from storm damage, or to prevent unauthorized access by squatters, looters, or vandals." We, at United Services, believe that it is so much more than that. As our Clients will agree, it is the first step of putting life back to normal. It is also a way of providing a sense of peace due to the prevention of further damage. United Services has been part of the 1-800 Boardup organization since 2008 and together we've been providing property preservation, and peace of mind, to our Clients.
Here are a few examples of how the United Services team saved the day with a board up solution:
------------------------------------------------------------------
Long Grove garage fire
After a car exploded in this detached garage, the crew was called to the scene to make sure the garage was properly secured.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Vandalism in Glencoe, IL
Following a vandalism in Glencoe, IL, the board up team at United Services rushed in to secure the patio door.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Retail Center Vandalism Boar Up
After a high end mall in Northeast, IL was vandalized, the United Services team rushed to the scent to secure the entrance.
------------------------------------------------------------------
As captured above, boardups are often needed, even without a fire. In cases of vehicle impact, or vandalism, boardups are necessary to protect the property from the aftermath of a hostile incident.
So whenever disaster strikes, be sure to call the United Services board up team to the rescue!
