United Services To Hold Continuing Education Course

United Services will hold a continuing education course at their offices in Lake Bluff, Ill. to cover disaster restoration and ultrasound technology.

The class will take place July 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at the United Services building located at 124 Baker Road in Lake Bluff. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Topics covered will be contents involved in properly loss and a review of the factors that affect the restorability of damaged contents. There will also be an overview of ultrasound technology and how it is used in disaster restoration, along with a hands-on demonstration. The course counts as three continuing education credits to the insurance industry.

“There are a number of factors to consider when it comes to restoring property after a disaster, including the cause, size and how much time has passed since the disaster occurred,” says Michele Donahue, director of business development for United Services. “As an experienced disaster restoration company, we know that this type of work requires special training, which is why we offer educational courses that industry professionals can attend in order to expand their knowledge and remain up-to-date on the latest restoration technologies and techniques.”
